SUNRISE SMOOTHIE BOWL
Start your morning off with a healthy kick of vitamins, minerals and healthy fats! Although this smoothie bowl is sweet, with mangoes, banana and orange, it also includes hemp seeds and coconut oil for a balancing dose of multiple healthy fats for a slower release of sugars in the bloodstream, helping your body keep the balance and give you lasting energy into your morning routine.
- 1 banana frozen, in pieces
- 1/2 cup mango frozen or raw
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup almond or coconut milk
- 1 TBS extra-virgin coconut oil
- 1 TBS hemp seeds/hearts
- strawberries sliced
- unsweetened coconut flakes
- hemp seeds/hearts
Combine all ingredients in your blender, and blend until smooth. Add filtered water or more almond milk if you'd like the consistency to be thinner.
Top with whatever ingredients you like, but I chose sliced strawberries, coconut flakes and more hemp seeds!
